I design simple, navigable healthcare experiences.
Weariness permeates so much of our healthcare experience. Right now, someone is filling out their primary care clinic’s intake paperwork for the 30th time. Someone else is registering for a 3rd patient portal because each of their specialists uses a different platform. Sadly, all of them have different password requirements. And tomorrow, when they go to pick-up their medications, one of them won't be covered by insurance for reasons known only to Aetna and God. So often, these experiences are viewed as immutable side effects of the healthcare system.
As a designer, I challenge the notion that healthcare needs to be uncomfortable and unnavigable. I seek to cut through red tape and simplify the patient’s experience so that getting and staying healthy can be the patient’s biggest priority.
